Week 8 Progress

Image
1. I can't say that I'm perfectly satisfied with my progress so far nor can I say that I'm not happy with it. I'm always content but striving for more. I've truly enjoyed my overall progress so far and I'm happy with the stories I've created. I loved being able to unleash my imagination and build my blog and website around my stories. 2. Moving forward, I don't think that changing my fundamental planning and outlook is necessary, because I've already built change into my work ethic. I try to adapt to each new story each week so that my storytelling can adapt as well and diversify. quoteslovee.com

Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Image
1. I have found the comments from my teacher and classmates to be fundamental when tweaking a story or blog post. My favorite comments that I have considered the most useful are from people who have suggested that I showcase a deeper aspect of my characters. Such as allowing them to express more emotion and how they feel about their situations so as to let a reader in. 2. I think I have given fair feedback when it comes to tweaking other people's blogs and stories. However, I have a hard time giving my full range of thought as being in both classes presses me on time. 3. When I read other blogs and stories, I do get some sense of what the authors are about. Obviously, I can't discern a person's core traits from reading their stories alone, but I get a feel for their creative vibes and imagination. Those things say more about people then we realize. 4. I don't think there are any significant changes to be made moving forward. Everything is in place and working wond

Week 8 Reading and Writing

This class is going really well for me. I've had many opportunities to showcase my creative writing. On that note, it's just a lot of writing which makes it hard to enjoy. Sometimes I feel rushed through an assignment and don't get much of a chance to savor the reading and writing.       I am very happy with the work I've been able to squeeze in though. I love how my blogs, websites, and stories turned out. I wouldn't consider any one of them to be my single biggest accomplishment. They all showcase different types of creative achievements.       My favorite in-class reading so far has been the Mahabharata. It truly is an Epic. There are so many awesome characters and the story plays out very well. I could honestly see it being made into a modern-day Hollywood movie if our culture would accept it.       My favorite out-of-class reading was the story of Krishna tricking Brahma. Which I read for my Storybook assignment on Krishna.       As for my

Bhima in the WWE Bhima Wrestling      "Standing 8 feet 2 inches tall! Weighing in at 540 pounds of straight musssscle!! Bhiiiiimaaaa!!"  cried the Monday Night Raw announcer. Out came the hulking figure of Bhima. He paused in a  power stance at the top of the walkway. Standing there, he flexed his mountainous muscles as he  beheld the crowd of 20,000+ screaming fanatics. He twirled his handlebar mustache before  continuing on course towards the ring.       Once he reached it, he leaped up onto the apron and proceeded to step over the top rope with his  people-sized legs. He swung his massive arms up above his head and roared at the audience. In some  spots, loud cheers erupted. In others, there was nothing but awe and silence. "Who is this man!?  Where did they find this beast!?" asked many of the spectators.       "Alright folks! Newcomer Bhima here is going to take on 40 wrestlers who will all enter  periodical
