Week 8 Reading and Writing
This class is going really well for me. I've had many opportunities to showcase my creative writing. On that note, it's just a lot of writing which makes it hard to enjoy. Sometimes I feel rushed through an assignment and don't get much of a chance to savor the reading and writing.
I am very happy with the work I've been able to squeeze in though. I love how my blogs, websites, and stories turned out. I wouldn't consider any one of them to be my single biggest accomplishment. They all showcase different types of creative achievements.
My favorite in-class reading so far has been the Mahabharata. It truly is an Epic. There are so many awesome characters and the story plays out very well. I could honestly see it being made into a modern-day Hollywood movie if our culture would accept it.
My favorite out-of-class reading was the story of Krishna tricking Brahma. Which I read for my Storybook assignment on Krishna.
As for my reading notes, they haven't really helped me all that much. I have a good memory which allows me to remember almost all of the main details of each story and then some. Yet, the reading notes are only supposed to help us remember our favorite details. Those details stick with me for years and I'm sure I could be inspired by them well after this course is finished.
This is my favorite image because it's Krishna revealing His Almighty true form to Arjuna.
That's all I have to say about this class so far. As for the future, I don't really have many critiques. I look forward to enjoying more of these fantastical stories and creative writing.
Hello Ethan, I really enjoy reading your posts because they are all really good! You have a good storytelling style. It is cool that you get to showcase your writing styles with this class! I also have a hard time telling stories and even writing basic posts. Overall, I think writing is to my thing.
